A monitor/control apparatus for generally monitoring/ controlling a plurality of power generating units, including a unit database (13) that stores therein process data and operation signals; a process input/output means (14) that reads data from the unit database to output it to a power generating unit (15); a unit database input/output part (12) that determines, in response to a request from an interface apparatus (11), the address of a power generating unit assigned beforehand to the interface apparatus to refer to the data corresponding to that address; an interface apparatus designating means (19) that designates an interface apparatus; and an interface apparatus assigning unit rewriting apparatus (18) that rewrites, based on a command from the interface apparatus designating means, the assignment relationship between the power generating unit and the interface apparatus.
