<p>An STB (120), connected to a printer (130), comprises a receiving unit (121) that receives, from an external unit, update data for updating printer firmware and display contents including a description describing that the update data is to be printed; a display data generating unit (122) that generates display data for displaying the display contents on a TV (123); a remote control receiving unit (125) that obtains a print instruction to print the display contents; and a print output unit (127) that outputs the update data to the printer (130) as data to be printed when the remote control receiving unit (125) receives the print instruction.</p> |
