Inflatable foil bag for packaging - has two foils each with integral valve sections avoiding leaking seals

The inflatable foil bag has an air inlet channel projecting into the inside of the bag and acting as a self-closing valve through the pressure inside the bag. The bag can be made from two foils (4) placed one on top of the other. Each foil has a foil bag section (3) and a valve section (1) which are connected together in one piece and adjoin each other along a peripheral break line (5). The edges of the foils (4) are welded together and the valve section (1) projects into the inside of the bag to act as the automatic valve. The valve section is pref T-shaped and can be formed from a part of the foil bag section. USE/ADVANTAGE - The one-piece bag and valve avoids the need for welding areas which could cause leakage.
