The appts. to produce a combination yarn from artificial silk filaments of polyurethane and polyamide has a feed cylinder for the polyurethane filaments directly at the delivery unit for the polyamide filaments. The polyurethane material is force key bonded at the feed cylinder. Pref. different drafting effects are obtd. by using feed cylinders of different diameters. The cylinders of different diameters are located at various workstations of the machine assembly to give a variety of combined artifical silk yarns on the same basic appts.. ADVANTAGE - The appts. can be applied to conventional equipments, with a simple attachment, to produce combination yarns.
