<p>The invention aims at providing processes by which nanoparticles or nanowires can be efficiently produced, specifically, a process for production of molecular devices by using a molecular structure in which the atomic density of the periphery is higher than that of the core and which have bonding residues in the periphery, which process comprises the step of making the molecular structure crosslink at the bonding residues; and a process for production of molecular devices as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that the molecular structure is constituted of a skeleton part having a skeletal structure and a peripheral part which is provided in the periphery of the skeleton part, has an atomic density higher than that of the skeleton part, and bears bonding residues and that in the above crosslinking step, the molecular structure is crosslinked at the bonding residues in the peripheral part into a molecular structure having a shell structure.</p> |
