<p>A content reproduction apparatus capable of utilizing and controlling a secure content having extensibility in a general-purpose terminal. In this apparatus, in a license processing application (20), a license data processor (202) updates license data, creates use permission information, and stores an updated license in a data storage region (102) via a license receiving/transmitting unit (201). A signature unit (203) performs a signature created by using a signature function (104) of a secure device (10) on the use permission information, thereby creating a use permission certificate. A transmission unit (204) transmits an encrypted content decryption key together with the use permission certificate to a reception unit (301) of a decoder I/F library (30). In the decoder I/F library (30), a judgment unit (302) authenticates the signature and authenticates the use permission information by using dynamic information contained in the use permission information.</p> |
