Method for forming connections between trade networks has the following steps: receipt of an access request from a home trade network user for access to an external trade network; transmission of the request from a home network operator to an external network operator; receipt of approval from the external network operator; setting up of an application access for the home network user; and transmission of a transaction communication to the selected application, where the transaction communication relates to a business transaction. The invention also relates to operators for home and external trade networks with appropriate access modules, etc., trade network interaction software and a system for implementation of the inventive method.
