On the double rib loom, a basic fabric of combustible synthetic yarn, esp polyamide fibres, is produced. The fabric contains closely spaced threads forming the pattern and perforated areas free from pattern threads. It is then subjected to flames or hot air at a temp. destroying the yarn of the basic fabric. |
