The red azopigments-lacquers, well dispersible in colour material, of formula I, where R1 is methyl group and R2 is chlorine atom, or vice versa, or R1 and R2 are atoms of chlorine and Me<2+> means Ca<2+>, Sr<2+>, Ba<2+>, Mg<2+>, Mn<2+>, is prepared by treating of salts of azo-dyes of general formula II, where Me<+> means Na<+>, K<+> or NH4<+> by Ca, Sr, Ba, Mg, Mn salts.<IMAGE>
