PURPOSE:To provide the nonmagnetic one-component toner which can form good images over a long period of time even under a high humidity and low humidity by using a suspension polymerized resin and emulsion polymerized resin to constitute the thermoplastic resin of the toner compsn. consisting of the thermoplastic resin, a coloring agent, a charge control agent and silica as an external additive. CONSTITUTION:The powder toner for electrostatic charge development is transported and supplied to a sleeve roller without using a magnetic effect and the thin layer of the toner is formed of a toner charge imparting member and a toner thin layer forming member on the sleeve roller. The toner is splashed from the thin layer of the toner to the electrostatic latent image facing the sleeve roller apart a specified spacing, by which the electrostatic latent image is developed. The thermoplastic resin in the toner compsn. used in this method is constituted of the suspension polymerized resin and the emulsion polymerized resin. The mixing ration of the suspension polymerized resin and the emulsion polymerized resin is preferably set between 5/1 to 5/4. On the other hand, the effect of cleaning the emulsion polymerized resin of the toner thin layer forming member decreases if the emulsion polymerized resin is extraordinarily little. |
