Condition of industrial air filter monitored by differential pressure meter linked to memory and time modules comparing actual and target values

An air filter monitoring assembly incorporates a differential pressure meter (13) connected to the inlet and outlet sides of a filter and a time module (14) determining the remaining service life and next scheduled maintenance. A memory device (15) holds the filter target differential pressure value and the target service life. A processor (16) is coupled to the time module (14) and memory device (15), and compares the actual differential pressure value and the target service life values with the commensurate target values. The processor (16) is coupled to a display (18) indicating the pressure differential and service life. The display has a basic operating mode in which it emits a warning when the pressure difference exceeds a pre-determined threshold or the filter service life has expired.
