The invention relates to a washing arrangement (1, 17) for a sheet-like object, particularly an anode (9), said washing arrangement comprising washing elements (2) for cleaning the anode and at least one conveyor element (3, 18) for moving the washing elements, so that the washing of the anode is arranged to take place underneath the liquid surface. In addition, the invention relates to a method for washing a sheet-like object, particularly an anode (9), by a washing arrangement (1, 17) according to claim 1, where the included washing elements (2) clean the anode and at least one conveyor element (3, 18) belonging to said washing arrangement moves the washing elements, so that the conveyor element shifts the washing elements to be adjacent to the anode for the duration of the washing, and away therefrom when washing is not in operation. |
