Automobile double clutch transmission

The double clutch transmission comprises two sub-transmissions (A,B) each having a primary shaft (1) with several pinions for different gear ratios. Each pinion (2,3) of the primary shaft of the first sub-transmission is associated with several gear ratios. There is an intermediate idler pinion (4) of the lowest gear for the reverse gear. The reverse gear and the idler gear of the largest gear can be engaged by means of a common sliding sleeve (8).
