摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an impact resistance improver for thermoplastic resin having a good balance between impact resistance and weathering resistance by using a graft rubber polymer obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a specified polymerizable monomer in the presence of a conjugated diene rubber. CONSTITUTION:An impact resistance improver comprising a graft rubber polymer obtained by emulsion-polymerizing 99-20 pts.wt. polymerizable monomer mixture (a), obtained by mixing 0.1-20wt.% polyfunctional monomer, 50-99.9wt.% 1-13C alkyl ester of acrylic acid and 0-30wt.% another copolymerizable vinyl compound, in the presence of 1-80 pts.wt. conjugated diene rubber (b) (the total of the polymerizable monomer (a) and the conjugated diene rubber (b) is 100 pts.wt.). This improver is a particulate one having a shell-core structure in which the core is composed of the diene rubber component which can impart impact resistance and the shell is composed of the diene component which can impart weathering resistance and can show good characteristics none of conventional impact resistance improvers can show.
