The car inside illuminating lamp (1) comprises optical foil (3) at light outlet side (11), a diffusion foil (4) at rear side (12) and a reflector (5) at a present spacing. In their longitudinal extension the three components are mutually parallel. There is at least one light source (2) for irradiating the foils and reflector, whose main radiation direction is parallel to longitudinal extension. W.r.t. the foils, the light source is so fitted that major part of its light impinges onto optical foil, is linked in it for forwarding.
