A catheter for the removal of urine, comprises a flexible tube (1) and an insertion aid (2) at the insertion side of the tube, for insertion of the tube into the urethra or the bladder. The tube has at least one opening located near the front of the insertion aid. The insertion aid connection to the tube is of the same diameter as the tube, and has a rounded head (3).
