A farm building houses a herd of farm animals and has a slatted floor through which droppings are expelled by a surface cleaning with a driver. The machine has wheels and a chassis with a fixed tow bar (24) bearing a transverse array of rotating cleaner discs. Each disc esp. has a series of projecting scraper tips placed at regular intervals around the circumference.
