The invention relates to a ladder (1) comprising electric transmission means (4). According to the invention, the aforementioned electric transmission means (4), which are disposed in a longitudinal recess (3) in one post (2A) of the ladder (1), comprise electrical connection means (6, 8) which are disposed at the ends (7a, 7B) of said post (2A), an electrical conductor (9) which is connected to said connection means (6, 8) and storage means (10) which automatically store the electrical conductor (9) inside the above-mentioned recess (3) and which allow a part of the electrical conductor (9) to be pulled out from said recess (3).
