LUMINOUS SHEET

A luminous sheet comprising a film of plastic selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyesters and polyamides and, applied to one side thereof, a paint containing phosphorescent powder. Use of a luminous phosphor constituted of an aluminate of alkaline earth metal using Eu as a main activator, the luminous phosphor having a particle diameter of 20 to 100 mum, as the phosphorescent powder enables providing a practicable luminous sheet of phosphorescence that is several times that of conventional luminous sheet or greater.
