The key has a shaft (14) that is pushed into a hole (37) in the head (12) of the key. The inner end of the shaft is shaped with a lip (28) at the end, and this lip displaces two elastic retainers inside the key head as the shaft is inserted, then serves to hold the shaft in place when the retainers spring out to lock behind the lip.
