<p>PURPOSE:To avoid matters such as wrinkling and jamming of a sheet by changing the start timing between respective carrying means according to a detected loop amount when the sheet is looped between the carrying means. CONSTITUTION:A loop amount formed on a transfer sheet also depends on occasional carrying condictions such as the material and thickness of the transfer sheet, and is not regularly constant. However, the loop amount actually formed on the transfer sheet includes the occasional carrying conditions. Thus, in order to restart a carrying roller 36 and carrying rollers 37-42, the actual loop amount of the transfer sheet formed in each occasion is detected. According to the detected actual loop amount, the start timing is changed in consideration of a difference in stop characteristic and start characteristic between the timing roller 45 and carrying roller 36 and the carrying rollers 37-42, whereby the device can be accommodated to a difference in occasional carrying conditions.</p> |
