PURPOSE: A funnel lapping machine is provided to control the lapping operation of the funnel by accurately controlling the pressure being applied to the funnel. CONSTITUTION: A funnel lapping machine comprises a vertical support(3); a slider(10) mounted on the vertical support in such a manner that the slider supports a holder(9) and moves in a vertical direction; a screw transfer shaft(20) arranged in a vertical direction on the vertical support and screw-coupled to the slider; a servo motor(24) for rotating the screw transfer shaft in forward and reverse directions in such a manner that the slider moves in a vertical direction; and a control unit for controlling the servo motor in such a manner that the elevating stroke of the holder supported by the slider is controlled. The control unit includes a position sensing part(34) for sensing the position of the holder; a numerical value input part(30) for inputting values for setting the elevating stroke of the holder; and a control part(32) for processing the signals input from the position sensing part and the numerical value input part and controlling the servo motor in accordance with the value obtained from the processing.
