摘要 <p>PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing high strength light weight tile and block having a dense high strength surface by the conventional sintering method without post processing such as cutting, polishing etc. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of (i) mixing 20 to 50% of waste glass (borosilicate glass, TFT glass, glass fiber, etc.), 10 to 30% of waste polishing sludge, 5 to 25% of calcareous mineral, 10 to 25% of clay mineral(dolomite, kaolinite, talc) and 0.1 to 1.0% of foaming agent(SiC, C, As2O3, Sb2O3, etc); (ii) mixing and grinding the mixture from (i) with 30 to 60% of water using a ball mill, followed by extruding the mixture using a kneading machine or by dry molding using a press after the particle size is adjusted by a spray dryer, thereby forming a light weight tile and block and then drying; and (iii) placing the molded tile and block in a furnace, raising a furnace temperature to 1000 to 1060 deg.C at a rate of 10 to 15 deg.C/min. and foaming and sintering the tile and block at that temperature, followed by cooling.</p>
