PURPOSE: A burglarproof/disaster prevention system using an SMS(Short Message Service) and a method therefor are provided to quickly transmit detailed information on abnormal situations to a remote place by using a home automation system and the SMS. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(200) converts a sensed change into an electric signal, and converts the electric signal into a wireless signal to transmit the wireless signal. A home automation system(100) comprises as follows. A wireless unit(24) receives the wireless signal. A memory(20) stores a telephone number called to urgently alarm an abnormal state, and stores an SMS to be transmitted with the telephone number. A call circuit(14) forms a speech path with the telephone number. A controller(10) decides the abnormal state, selects the SMS by the stored telephone number, and transmits the SMS through the call circuit(14). A terminal receives the SMS, and outputs information on the abnormal state to a user. |
