PURPOSE: A process for preparing a wood preservative composition with water-proof and anti-septic properties useable in coating surface of wooden columns of playgrounds and/or benches in parks is provided. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises a first solvent group including, in volume percent, 5-10% butyl acetate, 5-10% isobutanol, 5-10% butyl cellosolve, 10-15% methyl ethyl ketone, 25-30% xylene and 40-45% toluene; a second solvent group including 0.005-0.1% molybdenum dialkyl dithiocarbamate, 0.1-0.5% polymethacrylate, 0.8-1.2% olefin copolymer, 0.3-3% zinc alkyldithiophosphate, 0.05-5% diphenyl amine, 1-5% calcium-magnesium detergent, 1-8% polyisobutenyl succinimide and 75-80% mineral oil; and a third solvent group including 10-20% cellosolve acetate, 10-20% of liseed oil and 50-80% of deodorized kerosene in a relative ratio of the first and the second solvent groups to the third group by 4:6 to 6:4. |
