摘要 PURPOSE: An aluminum alloy wheel for automobiles having surface layer formed of stainless steel sheet molded article which beautifies an external appearance and is easily cleaned without plating treatment of the surface of the wheel by integrally forming stainless steel sheet molded article onto the surface of the wheel, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION: In an aluminum alloy wheel(100) for automobiles comprising a hub(12) into which hub nut holes(13) and hub shaft hole(14) are penetrated, a rim(15), rim supports(17) radially formed between the hub(12) and rim base(16), and holes penetrated between the rim supports(17), the aluminum alloy wheel for automobiles having surface layer formed of stainless steel sheet molded article is characterized in that a stainless steel sheet molded article(1) is integrally bonded to the surface of the wheel so that the surface of the hub(12), rim(15), rim supports(17) and holes that are parts expressed as the external appearance in the aluminum alloy wheel for automobiles is covered by the stainless steel sheet molded article(1), and a plurality of prominence and depression type supporting nails(3) welded to the bonding surface(2) at a position corresponding to the rim support surface part(6) of the stainless steel sheet molded article(1) are buried in the rim supports(17) of the aluminum alloy wheel(100) for automobiles.
