PURPOSE: A device for calculating IPs(Internet Packets) of a label switch of an MPLS(Multi Protocol Label Switch) is provided to calculate logic provided from a cell tag controller, and to calculate the number of detected final ATM cells only by VPIs/VCIs, thereby processing inputted ATM cells without moving to an IP layer. CONSTITUTION: An input cell register(21) temporarily stores inputted ATM cells(22). Header information of the ATM cells(22) is provided to a cell tag controller(23). The cell tag controller(23) is connected to a connection tag table(24). The connection tag table(24) stores a connection ID for inputted VPIs/VCIs, a connection tag value, and an IP field value. The cell tag controller(23) detects a connection tag(25) corresponding to the VPIs/VCIs of the ATM cells(22), and controls the input cell register(21) to add the connection tag(25) to the ATM cells.
