PURPOSE: A moisturizing cosmetic composition containing a hericium erinaceum extract is provided which has moisturization effect to prevent wrinkles on the skin. CONSTITUTION: A moisturizing cosmetic composition for the prevention of wrinkles is characterized by containing 0.5-20%(based on the total weight of the composition) of a hericium erinaceum extract that is obtained by the steps of: mixing hericium erinaceum with 1.3-butanediol, ethanol and distilled water; and stirring them at room temperature for 48 hours and followed by filtration.
