PURPOSE: A method for treating the surface of stainless steel so that different materials are solidly adhered to the surface of the stainless steel is provided, and a stainless steel wallpaper material manufactured by printing printed layer on the surface of the stainless steel using the method is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for reforming surface of thin stainless steel sheet is characterized in that the synthetic polymer resin(200) is adhered to the surface of the thin stainless steel sheet(100) by passing a thin stainless steel sheet(100) through a plasma chamber that is in the plasma state and filled with synthetic polymer resin(200) in a constant speed, wherein the inside of the plasma chamber is guided to the plasma state by operating plasma generator after filling an inert mixed gas into the plasma chamber under the vacuum state. The stainless steel wallpaper material comprises the thin stainless steel sheet(100); and the synthetic polymer resin(200) adhered to the surface of the thin stainless steel sheet(100), wherein the stainless steel wallpaper material further comprises a thermosetting ink layer(300) having high affinity and adhesiveness coated on the surface of the synthetic polymer resin(200).
