PURPOSE: A developing unit in the electro-photographing technology and a method for controlling a density thereof are provided to keep a printing density uniformly during the valid lifespan of an ink cartridge. CONSTITUTION: A developing unit in the electro-photographing technology includes an ink container(10) filled with a liquid phase ink(15) having an ambient particle concentration and an ambient magnetic resistance by a predetermined level(18). In the ink container, a developing roll(11), an electric attacher(12), and a developing roll rinsing unit(14) are provided. The developing roll has a developing surface and applied with a first voltage to the surface. The electric attacher is positioned with a predetermined gap from the developing roll and applied with a second voltage. The developing roll rinsing unit contact the developing surface of the developing roll or an ink layer plated on the developing surface.
