METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF CUSHION MATTRESS WITH SOUND ABSORPTION PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing cushion type mattress having sound-absorption performance is provided, which is applied to floors or walls of gyms and/or infant schools by using semi-permanent waste tire instead of conventional wood panels or cement material. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises admixing, in weight percent, 20% of EPDM, 20% of a rubber for absorbing impact, 7.6% of VN3, 40% of CaCo3, 0.6% of releasing agent, 0.8% of SuNoc, 0.8% of dispersing agent(PEG), 2% of assistant agent(Zno MGO), 7.8% of lubricant and 0.6% of accelerator then forming a panel by a press-molding machine at 160deg.C for 10 minutes; grinding the panel into 3-5mm particles; preparing colored rubber chips(3); blending 15-30% of the chips(3) with 70-80% of powdered tire(2), 10-20% of urethane adhesive and 2-5% of teflon based releasing agent then forming the final mattress by the molding machine at 150deg.C for 10 minutes; and drying it at 20deg.C or less.
