PURPOSE: A method for transferring photograph to wood such as sliced veneer is provided to transfer an image to be transferred to the wood effectively by maintaining the most stable state of the wood and controlling appropriate transferring temperature and time of the wood. CONSTITUTION: The method for transferring photograph to wood such as sliced veneer comprises the processes of printing an image(1) to be transferred on exclusive paper through a real picture machine called as printing plotter(4) using special ink of dye ink after drawing up output data by inputting an image to be transferred to a workpiece such as sliced veneer into a computer for image edition(3) so that the inputted data is edited when transferring a picture or an image contained in digital camera to wood workpiece such as sliced veneer; coating lacquer on the wood such as sliced veneer to which the printed image is to be transferred; drying the lacquer coated on the wood such as sliced veneer to which the printed image(5) is to be transferred; and heating the exclusive paper laminated wood for about 3 minutes using a heat transfer machine(7) having temperature of about 200 deg.C by laminating the image printed on the exclusive paper with the lacquer coated wood such as sliced veneer(6) to which the printed image is to be transferred.
