A communication system is described which is adapted to enable a remote user to obtain information relating to one or more services or products. The system maintains a datastore of registered users and available products. A user supplies an identifier relating to a relevant product via a communication channel to the system. The information selected for forwarding onto the user is selected based on a comparison of the supplied identifier with products associated with identifiers.
