PURPOSE: A shock absorber is provided to prevent sound pressure produced by lack of flux in a compression chamber, in a stretching stroke. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber comprises an outer pipe; an inner pipe(3) installed inside the outer pipe; a piston valve(10) dividing the inside of the inner pipe into a stretching chamber and a compression chamber while rectilinearly reciprocating in the inner pipe; and a body valve(20) installed to the lower end of the outer and inner pipes. The shock absorber has a unidirectional fluid supply unit(30) supplying a fluid of a reservoir chamber to the inner pipe, only in a stretching stroke. The unidirectional fluid supply unit comprises plural fluid supply pipes(31) installed to the side of the inner pipe; a support member(32) supported on the inner surface of the inner pipe; and a slant cylindrical valve(35) movably supported to the support member. The support member forms a fitting projection(33) to the upper end and a slant support face on the inner surface. The slant cylindrical valve opens and shuts the fluid supply pipes.
