Agglomeration drum

A rotating approximately horizontal drum holds two types of fine particles which are mixed and agglomerated into large particles or drops. The drum cross section is especially a regular polygon, e.g. pentagon, hexagon or octagon. Alternatively the drum sidewalls are made of corrugated sheet metal with rounded profiles. The rotating drum rests on a tilt frame support, within which the drum pitch angle may be varied positively or negatively.
