The grating has parallel bars(1) joined together by one or more cross-members(2). The bars are also joined together by one or more non-slip components(5) of round cross-section. Each of the latter has recesses(6) in its sewed towards all the bars, so that it partly protrudes between them. The component can be smooth and straight in the lengthwise direction, and the recesses can be dimensioned so that the bars fit closely inside them. It can be of elastic plastics, with the recesses narrower than the mating portions of the bars.
