METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING PHOTO IMAGE USING MOBILE PHONE TERMINAL AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a photo image using a mobile phone terminal is provided to interwork an MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) server with a PPG(Push Proxy Gateway) server, and to call a photo image transmitting terminal in a standby state, thereby receiving the photo image. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone terminal of a user inputs the identification number of a photo image transmitting terminal after connecting to an MMS server(200). The MMS server transmits the inputted number to a PPG server(202). The PPG server transmits a photo image transmission request to the photo image transmitting terminal corresponding to the number(204). The photo image transmitting terminal directly transmits taken photo image data to the MMS server without passing through the PPG server(206). The MMS server transmits the data to the mobile phone terminal of the user(208).
