Micro-reactor comprises individual layers forming a layer stack (42) having a covering layer (32) and a channel layer (10), and an inlet channel (48) and an outlet channel joined to micro-channels (40). The channel layer has individual layers (10.1-10.3) each having micro-structures (18) on at least one side to form micro-channels with neighboring layers. The individual layers are thermally coupled together. Preferred Features: The microstructures are produced by etching to form a semi-elliptical cross-section. The micro-channels of different channel layers of a layer block run in different directions, preferably at 90 degrees to each other. The micro-channels have a width of 400 micron, a depth of 200 micron and a length of 8-20 mm. |
