PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of pruning operation with a slight exhausted feeling of operator by efficiently binding branches, wood chips, etc., discharged after pruning fruit trees, garden trees, etc. SOLUTION: The binding device has constitution that a winding means comprises a revolving shaft member 8, a driving part 9 for driving the revolving shaft member 8, a winding and locking part 10b in which one end W12 of a first string member W1 having the other end connected and fixed to a binding operation stand 5 is wound by the rotation of the revolving shaft member 8 and a reverse rotation blocking member 11 which is laid between the binding operation stand 5 and the revolving shaft member 8, prevents the revolving shaft member 8 from reversely rotating and retains a temporarily bound state. When the revolving shaft member 8 is rotated and operated by the driving part 9, the first string member W1 is wound according to the rotation of the winding and locking part 10b, retains a temporary bound state by the reverse rotation blocking member 11 and a material 2 to be bound in the temporarily bound state is fastened by a second string member W2 to bind the branches, the wood chips, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
