PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the playing potentialities of game machines by transmitting specified effect sounds to players accurately free from the adjustment of sound volumes in a type having functions of adjusting the volumes of effect sounds. SOLUTION: A pachinko game machine 1 is provided with a sound control board 16 which selectively generates many kinds of preset effect sounds S1 to S6 according to the states of games and a sound volume adjusting switch SW6 for adjusting the volumes of the effect sounds S1 to S6. The sound control board 16 alters the volumes of reproduced sounds of the effect sounds S1, S2, S3 and S6 proportionally according to operations of the sound volume adjusting switch SW6, while as for the specified effect sounds S4 and S5, the adjustment of the sound volumes by the sound volume adjusting switch SW6 is restricted.
