PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method, a controller, a game machine, a token dispenser, a recording medium and a program which can prevent an increase in loads, jamming and the like associated with the movement of tokens within game machines while saving the labor of users by the direct feeding of the tokens from the token dispensers and realize the appropriate movement and circulation of the tokens between the token dispensers and the game machines. SOLUTION: The method of controlling the feeding of tokens for game machines has a step for detecting the frequency of discharging tokens being fed from the medal dispenser provided adjoining token game machines with the first sensor, a step for detecting the frequency of feeding the tokens into the token game machines from the token dispenser with the second sensor, a step for comparing the token discharge frequency and the token feeding frequency and a step for stopping a token feeder when a difference is found between the discharge frequency and the feeding frequency of the tokens.
