<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic air cleaner which prevents ozone from being retained without decreasing dust collecting capability in relation to the electrostatic air cleaner performing dust collection by using a high voltage power source and a high voltage electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrostatic air cleaner which is provided with an air blower and the high voltage power source and performs dust collection by the high voltage power source on which a high voltage obtained from the high voltage power source is loaded, a time difference is provided for starting the air blower and the high voltage power source, and the air blower is linked with the operation of the electrostatic air cleaner and the high voltage power source is driven by a specified time interval after the air blower is worked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
