PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a granular hydration agent improved in underwater dispersibility and suspending properties without being influenced with the kind and properties of an agrochemically active ingredient and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The granular hydration apart comprises a solid agrochemically active ingredient having extensibility at normal temperature and exhibiting caking properties even by preservation at a temperature not higher than its melting point, basic white carbon and a porous substance as essential raw material ingredients. The method for producing the granular hydration agent comprises formulating mixed fine powder prepared by finely pulverizing a mixture of the solid agrochemically active ingredient with the basic white carbon and a granular material of the porous substance as the essential raw material ingredient.
