PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for raising the temperature of exhaust gas, by which heat efficiency is improved when the waste heat from a cement burning apparatus is recovered. SOLUTION: A part of the exhaust gas from the cement burning apparatus is extracted to recover low-melting point compounds in the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas from which the low-melting point compounds are recovered is heated and then is returned to the cement burning apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
