PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snowmobile with high steering stability by lowering an overall height of an engine to lower a center of gravity of a vehicle body while keeping proper lubrication inside the engine. SOLUTION: In this snowmobile 100 an engine 11 comprises an engine body 12 placed laterally; an oil tank 70 attached on its side face; an oil pump 41 supplying lubrication oil from the oil tank 70 to the engine body 12 and recovering the lubrication oil reserved in the engine body 12 to the oil tank 70; and an indentation part 90 extending in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle body between the engine body 12 and the oil tank 70 on the bottom face of the engine.
