PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and inexpensive method for recycling a waste material of a thermoplastic resin composition as resources capable of obtaining a molded object, comprising a thermoplastic resin composition having quality and surplus life corresponding to various uses from the waste material of the thermoplastic resin composition by material recycling using the waste material of the thermoplastic resin composition as a main raw material. SOLUTION: The method for recycling the waste material of the thermoplastic resin composition as resources is equipped with a measuring process for measuring the oxidation induction period of the waste material of the thermoplastic resin composition, a determination process for determining the addition amount of an oxidation inhibitor added to the waste material of the thermoplastic resin composition on the basis of the measuring result, an addition process for adding the oxidation inhibitor to the waste material of the thermoplastic resin composition in the determined addition amount to heat and melt the waste material, and a process for molding the heated and melted waste material of the thermoplastic resin composition to obtain the molded object comprising the thermoplastic resin composition.
