PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional water heating pot, whose automatic control system determines both the time in use and the time out of use based on learning, do not always supply hot water to a user even during the time in use after it is added with too little water to start the automatic heating during the time out of use when the water temperature is kept lower. SOLUTION: This electric water heating pot, capable of learning the usage pattern of a user, keeps the water at a high temperature during the time when it is often used, and at a low temperature during the time when it is not. It is provided with an added water detection means 9 which detects any amount of added water even short of the level to start the automatic heating during the low-temperature mode, as well as an automatic heating control means 10 which, when the usage pattern switches from the low-temperature mode to the high-temperature mode, brings the water to the boil and keeps it at a high temperature afterward. Therefore, if any added water is detected by the added water detection means 9 during the low-temperature mode, or the time out of use, under the automatic control for electricity saving, the water is automatically heated to the boiling when the low-temperature mode shifts into the high- temperature mode.
