PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sterilization without impairing flavor and a color tone of a liquid food in the case of sterilizing the liquid food by a sterilizer equipped with a tubular heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The method for sterilizing a liquid food comprises transporting the liquid food in a tube under the condition of 0.020-25.000 Reynolds number in sterilizing the liquid food by the sterilizer equipped with the tubular heat exchanger.
