<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus capable of being made compact and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: A filter, which is used for a bag filter for extracting dust from an exhaust gas and collects a reaction product with HCl to desalt the same while permitting the exhaust gas to pass, comprises a ceramic filter 7 for supporting at least one of an adsorbent and a metal catalyst. This ceramic filter 7 is used to extract dust from the exhaust gas in the same way as the conventional method to desalt the exhaust gas and, at the same time, dioxins in the exhaust gas are adsorbed by the adsorbent and/or decomposed by the metal catalyst to remove dioxins. NOX in the exhaust gas is reacted with NH<SB>3</SB>supplied from an NH<SB>3</SB>feeder 6 by the action of the adsorbent and/or the action of the metal catalyst to be reductively decomposed and denitrated. In addition, SOX in the exhaust gas is adsorbed in the form of sulfuric acid or in the form of an ammonium salt as a reaction product of sulfuric acid and NH<SB>3</SB>by the adsorbent and/or collected by the ceramic filter to perform desulfurization. An activated carbon adsorption column required in the rear stage of the bag filter heretofore is dispensed with. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
