INTERIOR MATERIAL-ATTACHING STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior material-attaching structure for an automobile which can perform the engaging position adjustment of a striker by simply removing a garnish alone without removing a top sealing when the striker is adjusted.

SOLUTION: The top sealing 34 is provided on the cab internal side of a roof rail inner 22 which extends in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle. At the same time, the striker 18 which engages with a locking device 16 at the upper part of the front end of a rear door 3 of doors having a double door structure is fastened to the roof rail inner 22 for this interior material-attaching structure for the automobile. The striker 18 is fastened to the roof rail inner 22 in such a manner that the attaching position can be adjusted from the lower side. The garnish 54 which is constituted of a separate member from the top sealing 45 is provided at the location corresponding to the striker 18. The garnish 54 is detachably attached to a bracket 31 which is provided on the roof rail inner 22.
